Knitter and New Mum

A keen knitter and stay at home mum of Keira my little angel. I spend my days looking after her, shopping for her, cleaning up after her and in between all of that knitting and cooking and looking after my lovely husband Justin.

Oh - I love the vest - and I dont think that it matters that we are going into winter - you can never be too prepared and another book on the coffee table will not hurt!

Happy 31st birthday for last week! What a wonderful way to spend it! I spent my birthday scrapping all day last month and have decided that birthdays are meant to be spent doing something crafty and not having to worry about Austy getting into everything. Hubbies are great babysitters on birthdays!

I love that special knits book and am trying to find an excuse to buy it but am tossing up between that and the Zoe Mellor animal knits book, which has more boy things in it than the gorgeous debbie bliss special knits. I love Debbie's little girl knits though, and have just found out a friend is having a girl, so might get the chance to make some of them for her.

Wow on the new ttc adventure already! I couldn't have fathomed it when Austy was 9 months old, but now he's walking and talking and much less like a baby, the clucks have kicked in and DH and I were discussing ttc in July if we find a house in time (no room in this one for a second child as there's only just enough room for the three of us as it is). I look forward to seeing him with a brother or sister too. At the airport yesterday he shook my hand away and ran off, going up to the first little girl he saw, pointing at her nose and saying "KIDS!" She wasn't sure what to do, but soon he ran off again, found another little girl and gave her a big hug and a kiss! Something tells me he wants a little sister... he heee. He had fun playing chasey with a little boy in the little flyers area too, so a brother would be fine as well. Good luck with ttc!

Good luck for trying for no. 2. I love the Debbie Bliss book, sounds nice. I also heard that Jo Sharp Issue 3 is coming out next month too, so it must be that time when new books start popping up all over the place. Hope you had a nice birthday too.
